Day 1: Sunday, 11/11/2018: Lima (Peru)
Arrival to Lima airport, the capital of Peru, located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. After landing, transfer to the hotel. We will meet the tour leader at the hotel.

Day 2: Monday, 12/11/2018: Lima – Cusco – Urubamba Valley
This morning we will fly to Cusco, the magic capital of the Andes. The city has a population of 380,000 inhabitants, and is located at the very lofty altitude of 3,326 meters above sea level. As soon as we arrive we’ll enjoyed a panoramic view of the city and immediately descend to the Urubamba Valley or Vallee Segrado – which was sacred to the ancient Inca inhabitants. We will visit the Awana Kancha Farm and enjoy the special Indian market at Pisac. The panoramic views of the  Andes Mountains that straddle the valley are simply unforgettable.

Day 3: Tuesday, 13/11/2018: The Urubamba River, Machu Picchu: One of the Man-Made Wonders of the World
A fascinating day lies ahead of us today, definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We will take a glass-domed train that enables us to enjoy spectacular views of the Andes as we make our way to Machu Picchu – the lost city abandoned by the Incas without being discovered by the Spanish conquerors. The city was found again in 1911 by the explorer Hiram Bingham. We’ll also tour the huge Indian market in the town of Aguas Calientes and admire the rain forests and the special vegetation.

Day 4: Wednesday,  14/11/2018: Urubamba Valley – Cusco
We’ll start the day with an unforgettable visit to the Ollantaytambo Indian village. At the end of the visit we will return to Cusco, the special city often referred to as the “Kathmandu of Peru” because it is a magnet for many travelers and tourists. The area where it is located can be compared to the Himalayas. In the evening, we’ll go to the “Andes Mountains” show.

Day 5: Thursday 15/11/2018: Cusco – Lima
Today we will take a walking tour of downtown Cusco through the impressive squares, mansions and local palaces. After the tour we will fly back to Lima. After landing, visit the Plaza de Mayor, which houses the presidential palace, the impressive cathedral, the city hall and Plaza San Martin with its striking colonial streets.

Day 6: Friday 16/11/2018: Lima
After breakfast we’ll continue our visit to the city. We will stopover at “Rabin Park” dedicated in honor of the State of Israel and the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin whose statue stands in the park. We will continue to the Gold Museum , which displays examples of pre-Spanish gold jewelry, masks, pottery, sculptures and objects from various Peruvian cultures. The museum also has a collection of textiles and weapons from around the world. We’ll continue to the terrifying Museum of the Inquisition. In the late afternoon we’ll return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat.

Day 7: Shabbat 17/11/2018: Lima
After Shabbat services, Kiddush and lunch, we’ll take a walking tour in the area near our hotel.

Day 8: Sunday 18/11/2018: Lima – to Santiago de Chile
Today we’ll fly to Santiago, Capital of Chile, one of the most beautiful and modern cities in South America. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of the city – the fifth largest on the continent. Afterwards, we’ll transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 9: Monday 19/11/2018: All Aboard!
This morning we’ll drive to the pier to board our luxurious Holland America Cruise Ship MS Zaandam and settle-in for an unforgettable round-the-continent night. We’ll set sail in the late afternoon from the port of Santiago.

Day 10: Tuesday 20/11/2018: At Sea
Today’s a day to relax and enjoy all of the ship’s magnificent facilities. Take a dip in the pool or play some tennis, sit at the bay window while reading in the library, marvel at the art works in the gallery, share a cappuccino with friends in the coffee shop, enjoy a massage in the spa, score a few wins in the casino, go to the movies or take in a show. Day 11: Wednesday 21/11/2018: Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas
Today we will visit Puerto Montt. We’ll pass through the center of Puerto Montt city with its typical square and cathedral. The latter is the town’s oldest building. Our first stop is at an observation point for a beautiful view over the city, Tenglo Island and the Tenglo Channel. Afterwards we’ll visit the world famous Petrohue falls. The waterfall is supported by basalt rock lava stemming from the Osorno Volcano that is located between Todos los Santos and Llanquihue Lake and provides an ideal background for a photo shoot.

Day 12: Thursday 22/11/2018: Puerto Chacabuco
Today we’ll anchor at Puerto Chacabuco, close to Carretera Austral, a 1240 km long road that was built in the 1970s, and is considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world. It crosses the southern tip of Chile from Puerto Montt in the north to Villa O’ Higgins in the south, passing through many quaint, ethnic villages, spectacular scenery, fjords, hanging glaciers, and crystal clear lagoons of Chilean Patagonia. We’ll stop in at some of the villages and marvel at the scenery.

Day 13: Friday 23/11/2018: At Sea – Sailing the Chilean Fjords
Today we’ll sail through the Chilean Fjords – maze of fjords, canals, islands and lakes. These fjords are considered even more beautiful than those in Norway.

Day 14: Shabbat 24/11/2018: At Sea – Sailing Sarmiento Channel
Some more time today to enjoy the ship’s many outstanding facilities, as we bask in the splendor of the scenic views surrounding us while we sail through the Sarmiento Channel. It is named for Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa of Spain who mapped out this part of the world in 1579-80. We’ll continue to sail close to the Amalia Glacier. What a beautiful way to spend a relaxing Shabbat on board, along with Shabbat services, scrumptious Shabbat meals, lectures and shiurim.

Day 15: Sunday 25/11/2018: The Strait of Magellan, Punta Arenas
Today we will cross the famous Magellan Strait named for the Portuguese explorer and sailor Ferdinand Magellan, who discovered it in 1520. It is the largest natural passage between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific. The strait passes between the southern and continental margins of South America and the land of fire and Cape Horn. Later in the day, we will anchor in Punta Arenas, the capital of Chilean Patagonia and the southernmost city of Chile, located on the shores of the Strait of Magellan, at almost equal distances from the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. We’ll explore the city center and look for Magellan’s statue in the main square. We will visit the Salisiano Museum, which exhibits a variety of themes: art, history, ethnology, flora and fauna, local missionary history and more. At the end of the tour, we will return to the ship and sail the Beagle Canal, the passage at Tierra del Fuego  (“the land of fire” ) archipelago at the southern end of South America that separates the great island from the islands of Picton, Navarino, Gordon, O’Brien, Londonderry, and Stuart. In the eastern part of the island, the border serves as a natural border between Argentina to the north and Chile to the south, and to the west it is entirely under the sovereignty of Chile.

Day 16: Monday 26/11/2018: Ushuaia, Argentina
Having passed through Tierra del Fuego we’ll arrive at Ushuaia in Argentina, the southernmost habitat in the world, and the gateway to Antarctica. Ushuaia National Park was created to protect the southern portion of sub-Antarctic forest. Today it provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the Andes and the region’s forests, rivers, lakes and peat bogs. It is also home to a large variety of birds. Ensenada Bay offers great views of Redonda Island, with stunning Chilean islands of Navarino and Hoste as a backdrop. We’ll will travel along a narrow and picturesque route that teems with wildlife, stopping to visit Roca Lake and take a short walk along the coast to learn about the local flora. Finally, we’ll arrive at Lapataia Bay—the southernmost place in the world that can be reached by road. This is indeed the proverbial “end of the road.”

Day 17: Tuesday 27/11/2018: At Sea – Cape Horn
Today we will pass Cape Horn – a rocky cliff that reaches out into the sea and forms the southernmost point on the South American continent. Today’s a day to relax and enjoy all of the ship’s magnificent facilities. Take a dip in the pool or play some tennis, sit at the bay window while reading in the library, marvel at the art works in the gallery, share a cappuccino with friends in the coffee shop, enjoy a massage in the spa, score a few wins in the casino, go to the movies or take in a show. Day 18: Wednesday 28/11/2018: Falkland Islands
Today we will visit the Falkland Islands, located alongside South America, but we may mistakenly think that we came to a province in England. Driving is on the left side of the road and the official language here is English. The islands became famous because of the war initiated by Argentina against England. To the British, this is corner of the world is called the Falkland Islands. Argentina continues to believe that the Islands are theirs and they call them the Malvinas Islands. The islands lie between South America and Antarctica. We will visit Stanley, the southernmost city on the planet, the capital of the Falkland Islands.

Day 19-20: Thursday-Friday: 29-30/11/2018: At Sea
Today’s a day to relax and enjoy all of the ship’s magnificent facilities. Take a dip in the pool or play some tennis, sit at the bay window while reading in the library, marvel at the art works in the gallery, share a cappuccino with friends in the coffee shop, enjoy a massage in the spa, score a few wins in the casino, go to the movies or take in a show. Day 21: Shabbat 1/12/2018: Montevideo, Uruguay
Today we will dock in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, which lies on the banks of the Rio de la Plata River. We’ll spend Shabbat aboard ship, with Shabbat services, scrumptious Shabbat meals, lectures and shiurim.he enjoyed prayer, meals and lessons. This is pure relaxation time to enjoy ALL the ship’s many facilities and to pamper ourselves before we see land again.

Day 22: Sunday 2/12/2018: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Laden with the experiences and well relaxed from our amazing cruise, we’ll disembark in the port of Buenos Aires. We’ll tour this beautiful city of more than 10 million inhabitants, taking in such sights as the renowned district of Palermo, the city of beautiful gardens, the the picturesque neighborhood of La Boca, the stronghold of Italian immigrants and the magnificent Recoleta cemetery. We will not miss the famous “Florida” pedestrian mall with the huge “Pasipico Gallery”. In the evening we can go for a tango show (for a fee).

Day 23: Monday 3/12/2018: Buenos Aires
After breakfast we will take a tour of Argentina’s capital, called Paris of South America. We’ll admire the wide boulevards decorated with trees and flowers, the magnificent plazas with the presidential palace, the Congress Palace, the impressive synagogue, the opera building, the courtroom on which the tablets of the covenant are presented, and from which the laws and ethics were given to the world. On the way we’ll pass by dozens of synagogues. We will also hold a memorial service by the remnants of the Israeli embassy, ​​where many of the diplomatic staff were injured in a terrorist bombing.

Day 24: Tuesday 4/12/2018: Buenos Aires – Back home
Our tour in South America is over. We will drive to the airport and fly back home.

Kashrut on Tours

Kosher food is provided to our travelers on all our tours. We work with the local Rabbinate to provide Hashgacha for all local ingredients and fresh meat and poultry. In some cases, we fly in kosher food from Israel and other sources, depending on the destination of the tour. We do not guarantee Pat Israel and Chalav Israel for all destinations. In many destinations we have our own crockery and cutlery. Where we don’t, we provide disposables at the meals. When we cook in Hotel kitchens, we ensure proper Kashering and we use our own kitchenware on kashered and covered surfaces. All this is done under the strict supervision of our trained staff/guides that function as our Mashgichim. Our travelers enjoy satisfying meals prepared by our team including fresh local fish, fruit, and vegetables. This is an integral part of Jewish travel. We make great efforts to assure that our travelers will experience local foods first-hand, while maintaining stringent observance of Kashrut laws on all occasions.

Deposit, Cancellation Fees & Policy:

A $500 USD Deposit per person must be received at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. Payment in full is due 60 days before departure. A minimum number of participants are required to operate tour dates. If a minimum number has not been reached prior to tour departure and the tour is cancelled you will receive a FULL refund.

Terms of cancellation

  • Cancellation for any reason from the moment of registration and up to 90 working days (inclusive) * prior to departure of the trip – the passenger will be charged $ 97 registration fee only
  • Cancellation for any reason from 89 work days to 30 working days (inclusive) * prior to departure of the trip – the passenger will be charged $ 1500 + $ 47
  • Cancellation for any reason from 29 working days to 11 working days (inclusive) * prior to departure of the trip – the traveler will be charged $ 2500 + $ 47
  • Cancellation for any reason from 10 working days * prior to departure of the trip – the traveler will be charged the full price of the trip including all the accompanying costs.


  • Fridays and Saturdays, holidays and holidays in Israel, Sundays and holidays abroad are not counted as a working day.
  • If any air tickets have been issued or additional services have been purchased,(eg: visas etc.), their prices will be added to the cancellation fees specified above.
  • Adding a logistics and kashrut person is dependent upon more than 20 participants.
  • In case of change, cancellation or malfunction related to flights, cruise or transportation, the responsibility for these rests with the service provider
  • The performance of the trip is subject to the conditions and responsibilities as they appear on the website
    Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of return from the trip
